The Internet - Cocaine [Syd Tha Kid & Matt Martian]

Je te parlais de The Internet la semaine dernière pour leur remix de Blue Jeans de Lana del Rey. Syd tha kid et Matt Martian viennent justement de dévoiler leur tout premier clip.

Avec ce Cocaine (réalisé par Matt Alonzo) le groupe va sans aucun doute faire enfin parler de lui auprès du grand public. Ce qui est sûr aussi c'est que le morceau va imprimer la patte du duo... avec des prods clairement en marge de ce que peuvent faire Tyler the creator et le reste de OFWGKTA.

J'avoue que depuis que j'ai vu (à l'occasion du live d'Odd Future aux Eurocks) Syd tha kid seule derrière les platines, avec sa silhouette fluette et androgyne, électriser un public nombreux avec ses propres prods: je suis avec attention ce qu'elle fait. Et j'aime beaucoup!

Common ft Nas - Ghetto Dreams

Bon allez, 'faut vraiment arrêter avec Jay-Z et Kanye West!! Je milite pour la survie des Maybach (cf. Otis..) et surtout pour celle de la bonne musique... et pour cela, on va plutôt s'écouter du lourd. Du très lourd. Common et Nas avec Ghetto Dreams...

En effet, le premier extrait clippé du nouvel album de Common (Sortie: 21 novembre) The Believer, The dreamer est arrivé cette semaine et annonce la couleur. Kanye West justement est toujours dans les parages (au travers de G.O.O.D Music) mais pour ce retour aux sources Common a fait appel à No Id et (logiquement?) à Nas pour le featuring. Je ne sais pas ce que t'en penses, pour moi le résultat est plus que réussi.

Avant de passer aux Paroles, on notera juste que le clip est réalisé par Matt Alonzo, dont je vais te reparler ici très très bientôt...
